LBMA
LBMA (London Bullion Market Association) are the Independent Precious Metals Authority. Advancing standards and developing market solutions for the global precious metals industry. With a broad membership that includes miners, refiners, financial institutions, transportation companies, trading firms, vaulting services and manufacturers from across the world.
Over the course of our 14+ year collaboration, we have witnessed LBMA’s journey from a small team with no marketing department to expanding into a larger organisation and building out a strong MarComms team. While they have grown and expanded, our partnership remains unwavering, as we continue to provide them with strategic guidance and creative support, working hand in hand to achieve their goals.
Brand Identity
& Guidelines
Working in partnership to redefine their brand story and identity, we established two faces of one brand. A champion – the face and voice of the market.
A regulator – a market custodian and guardian. This defined their brand personality, reflecting their core of leadership, integrity and transparency.
Digital and Printed Marketing Materials
We develop and design their quarterly magazine, the Alchemist. LBMA’s flagship publication, which is now into its 115th edition (October 2024). The magazine is packed full of interesting market commentary and insights, covering a wide range of topics that connect and engage with the market.
In addition, we support LBMA in delivering meaningful and impactful content through a wide variety of publications. Sometimes produced in other languages, such as Chinese, to be inclusive with all their members across the globe.
Event Materials
Every year LBMA host a series of events, which draws key representatives from all sectors of the precious metals market. The highlight is their Global Precious Metals Conference, held in a different location around the world each year and taking place over three days.
We create a wide range of materials for all their events, from the initial launch through the buildup to the event day itself. This includes digital and printed items, app graphics, as well as onsite materials, all designed to establish a cohesive identity and an engaging creative theme that captivates the audience.
Online Communication
& E-Marketing
We also support LBMA with an assortment of their digital needs, by crafting and delivering online content to elevate an event, promote a project or a report launch.
This may include a bespoke eCard or eCard campaign, promotional adverts or social media graphics. We provide LBMA with whatever they need to help them reach and resonate with their members and beyond.
Film & Video
The power of film & video is like no other. We produce and capture LBMA thought leadership pieces and industry topical updates that accentuate their expertise and define the market story. We also produce LBMA information films, scripted and storyboarded to include stylised interviews and elegant graphics.
These films captivate the precious metals audience to provide insight into different areas of LBMA’s organisation, the work that they do, what their membership offering brings and tells the LBMA story.
Photography
Photography plays a pivotal role in capturing the authenticity and realism of precious metals, and we have had the privilege of travelling to various locations, including two refineries and a vault, to capture breath taking imagery that serves both online and offline projects.
Furthermore, we have directed professional portrait shoots, encompassing general headshots as well as PR shots of the CEO. Following a stylescape and mood board produced to determine the desired style and subject positioning, we provided LBMA with a diverse range of options to choose from.
Podcasts
Podcasts have become immensely popular. They are an ideal way to stay informed (and entertained) offering insightful information in a convenient way. We were approached by LBMA to provide support to help launch their new Podcast series, with the aim to provide their members with knowledge and understanding into all areas of the precious metals industry.
An overall creative vision was established initially for the complete LBMA podcast series exploring designs for each topic to be hosted by different members of the LBMA organisation. Following this, a suite of digital launch items and an album cover were created for the first podcast episode in the ‘Compliance Cosy Chat’ series, which we also produced, directed, recorded and edited.
